With all the inhumane conditions and mistreatment of animals that we've described on this site, keep in mind that most of these cases are from the United States, England, etc. Unfortunately, animals often have to endure even more torture and even worse conditions in parts of the world where there are virtually no animal welfare laws, or these laws are not enforced.
