Recently yet another report surfaced about the mistreatment of cows in slaughterhouses. A news program showed how cows that were too weak to move were prodded and beaten, and dragged with the help of cables to be slaughtered. Unfortunately, although visually shocking, this type of thing is not new. It is a fact that animals are mistreated and sometimes tortured in slaughterhouses.
